Türk+Hillinger GmbH based in Tuttlingen is "hot". For years the medium-sized company has been steadily growing. In the year 2006 the enterprise achieved a double-digit increase in the business volume in Tuttlingen. The subsidiaries in Saxony and Hungary could increase their sales volume in the same way. Now the enterprise has created 50 new workplaces.
“With 30 new jobs we created, say the mass of the new jobs in Tuttlingen", Michael Mann, managing director of Türk+Hillinger says proudly. “We employ 80 % semiskilled workers for the production, thus everything which is dying off in Germany", so Mann.
"This is necessary, because we may not blow up our administrative machinery. Only if we remain slim and fast, we can manage the cost pressure also in the future ", thus the managing director.
The enterprise employs approximately 400 co-workers in Tuttlingen. Further 100 co-workers are active in Limbach and in Hungary.
As secret of success Michael Mann calls a good positioning in an increasing market. "We are also good", he sums up and clarifies the high quality standards and the innovation ability of the medium-sized supplier of heating element.
"The break-through succeeded 1966 with the electrical cartridge heater",
thus Mann. "We still produce this product, naturally in modified versions."
About 40 years later the Türk+Hillinger group has 240 patent applications and a daily production of more than 25000 electrical heating elements such as high density cartridge heaters, tubular heaters, retardation resistors, as well as thermocouples for the most different industries:
It is in automobiles, laundry dryers, copiers, hot runner systems, packaging machines, dialysis devices or railway switches - nearly everything comes from the factories of the heating element manufacturer based in Tuttlingen.
