Türk+Hillinger will present small and high temperature resistant plug connector
on the Euromold 2009
Türk+Hillinger, the market leader for compacted electrical heating elements,
sets new yardsticks. In the plastics industry the products of the enterprise are
used in a multiplicity of variations. As tubular heaters, collar heating elements,
cartridge heaters, sheath thermocouples or e.g. as spiral tubular cartridge for the
heating of nozzles. Türk+Hillinger offers here a very broad range of production.
The plugs which are already available on the market today involve enormous
disadvantages by its size, low temperature resistance and high costs and
therefore its distribution is also very limited. In striving for permanent optimization
the technicians of the enterprise succeeded in developing now a very small,
compact, robust and high temperature resistant plug connector for serial production.
The new high-innovative T+H plug connector for heating elements and thermocouples
is favorable and attractive also with respect to economic criteria.
Currently Türk+Hillinger provides the new plug connector in different versions.
It can be delivered as 1-, 2-, or 4-pole execution and is suitable for thermal loads
of 300°C or higher if necessary . In addition the shockproof and robust plug
connector exhibits highest pull-out strength through the snap fit of the components.
Suppliers of hot runners have enormous advantages by the employment of
such a plug at the assembling and maintenance of their systems: At the configuration
of the hot runner systems can now be worked with accurate cable lengths or with
pre-assembled wiring harnesses, so that the previous cutting scrap is avoided.
In case of an unplanned failure of the heating element during operation the new
heater can be mounted by simple Click-and-Change without touching the
connection supply and its complex wiring. This is an enormous time and cost advantage.
The T+H plug connector can be implemented with complete ceramic insulation
on the heating element side and on the thermocouple side. This offers the option
of thermal processes with the maintenance by the high temperature resistance,
to be e.g. a whirl-stream bath at approx. 450 to 500°C to clear the plastics off the
nozzles and the heating element easily.
The small size of the T+H of plug connector has an immense meaning especially
regarding the permanent miniaturization of the systems, because with the compact
size the degree of freedom of the designing engineers of hot runner systems
increases considerably when this such plug connector is used.
The plug connector will be presented to a broad public on the Euromold 2009
(December, 02 -05) in Frankfurt. Türk+Hillinger will exhibits in hall 9, stand A47.
